![]() Kristin Davis |
I met Kristin Davis when we both did a SIRIUS radio show on Eliot Spitzer's downfall. Kristin's lawyers now believe that Spitzer rolled on Davis in order to avoid prosecution after he was caught using call girls from the VIP Emperor's Club, one of Davis' competitors.
For those who don't know, Davis did four months on Riker's Island while Eliot skated on money laundering, violating the Mann act and perjury. Now she's back to take on the whole corrupt system.
Anyone who thinks Davis is a dumb blonde will learn otherwise. A high school graduate at 15, Davis has a Bachelor's degree in business, was Vice President of two Hedge Funds and has finished her course work for a Masters in Psychology. She will finish her dissertation this year. She is brilliant and articulate if a little green about the ways of politics.
Davis founded and operated the largest, most expensive and most successful escort service in world history. When Davis was arrested the Feds reportedly seized $15 million and another $12 million offshore. She also had a client list of VIPS, athletes, politicians and celebrities that she has refused to sell or divulge. The lady has integrity.
While Davis will run to highlight inequities in the criminal justice system, it's her platform that will make the campaign interesting. Davis supports the legalization, regulation and taxation of both prostitution and marijuana, which Davis says would net New York State $2.5 billion in new revenues which would allow property tax or income tax cuts.
Not since Italian porn star Cicciolina was elected to the Italian Parliament has there been a sexier candidate. Kristin Davis knows how to get publicity and can depend on a deep bench of models, dancers, escorts, exescorts and sex workers to collect signatures to get on the ballot.
After many dinners, drinks and meetings I have agreed to help Kristin Davis get on the New York Ballot. It wouldn't be the first time I worked for an Independent candidate for Governor of New York. I agree with her libertarian agenda. Her campaign is not a hoax or publicity stunt. She is not running to help or hurt any other party or candidate. Her agenda will take votes from the right and the left.
If she garners 50,000 votes, her Party will have permanent ballot status which will make them a force for reform in a system that is broke. If she polls more votes than the Independence, Conservative or Working Families Party, her influence will be magnified. That alone is more than enough reason to run. Look for a formal announcement around March 1.
